Root CM7 Nightly builds/custom kernels

I see there hasn't been a updated nightly since #177 (8/31)

Guess I've been out of the loop.

Next update will be enormous and possibly buggy, but I can see where some of it might affect the NC.

The nightlys have stopped due to the security breach of the linux kernel on the main linux developement servers or something. It's been all over the geek based web news. I guess it happened at the end of August and they are working to determine damages and setting up new servers and security.

CyanogenMod nightlies changelog for Encore

Check out this change by Dalingrin:

Encore: update fingerprint and add 7.1 changelog (android_vendor_cyanogen)

... and this: Changelog UPDATE (android_vendor_cyanogen)

Guess we'll have to see if we get a nightly #215, 7.1 RC2 or 7.1 stable tomorrow.

I just updated to 7.2 encore RC1. Is there a kernel I can flash or am I stuck with what is on this ROM? It's been about 7 months since I have updated my ROM

Dalingrin's kernel was merged a year ago. I'm not aware of any newer cm7 kernels.

Just updated my wife's NC to cm9 with an updated kernel and I think ICS is stable enough for every day use.
