Root CM7 Questions

1. In sense you had the option to link contacts to facebook, where is that option in CM7?

2. I need to revert back to when my phone asks me what operation I want to do when connecting to computer. In sense it was under settings - connect to cpu... Where is this option in CM7?

3. Looking for a widget... it's 1x3 and has 3 functions - phone, text, FB... Whichever one you click on would expand. I deleted it by accident and have been unable to find it through market, go store, beatiful widgets, factory widgets. Was hoping one of you hav it and can tell me what it is, cause I deleted it by accident.

4. Screen shots... I downloaded the recommended program but it keeps telling me that my phone either does not support the technology or is not rooted. My phone is rooted, so what program do I need to make screen shots.

5. I want to set my screen to turn off after 30 seconds, but I hate having to unlock it 100 times a day. So I want to set the security to kick in at a longer interval, say5-10 mintes... Is this possible?

6. When resising widgets in Go Launcher, it inevitibly edits unevenly, even though you can only go left-right, up-down... What am I doing wrong that's giving me slightly uneven widget size?

I'm not a big fan of making new threads for every little issue I encounter, but for some reason the forum search function won't work for me. If you can help me with any of this I would greatly appreciate it.

yeah you can. It should link most of your fb contacts automatically as long as you install the fb app. For those that don't, long press the contact and hit edit. Then press menu and select join.

For the contacts option, use the gowidget for contacts or android pro Widgets (free download) is pretty good as well.
 
Uploaded a screen shot of the widget I can't find, it's the one at the top of my home screen.

It asks me every time I plug in. Should be an option to connect as USB storage when you plug in. Is it not working properly?

Android pro Widgets or the gocontact widget work great.

Long press the power button and it should be an option. I use one called screenshot that works well. An older app called shootme is the best one but it is not compatible with the 2.3.7 framework if that's what you're using.

Should be able to under settings and then display. There's an option for screen time out

A screenshot would help. Not sure what you're talking about.

For #2, I think there's an option to not show that message again, and I may have inadvertently hit that. Botoom line, no, it's not working properly.
 
I'm running CM7, and it has a power control type widget at the top when you pull down the pull-down screen. I was able, at one point, to change what I want on there. Do you have any ideas on how to change it?

Also, how do I change the lock screen in CM7? Okay I figured that one out!
