That stinks, I do not want to flash cm6, or the stock rom, really like cm7. Guess I don't need the QR scanner. Maybe that will get fixed or someone can come with some workaround with it.

There's a workaround. Take a picture of the barcode or qr code, then decode using the picture you took instead of using the camera. I don't know if all code reader apps give you this option, but I know QR Droid does. The app and camera will keep working fine as long as you don't try to actually use the camera with an app.

Before I rooted the phone, I had not problem using any QR scanner with the phone, but now, I cannot get any of them to work and then if I try to use my phone after trying to use one of these apps, my camera stops working and I have to reboot. I have downloaded almost all the free ones, is there one that works with CM7 best. I really want to use this app, I have some QR codes that I want to scan to get some free stuff.

A workaround I have seen posted is to take a picture of the code and scan it from within the app. I don't use them, so I'm not sure which apps this works for.

I have the Playfulgod ROM CM7 9/12/2011 running 600mhz @ default. the ROM runs excellent only problem i have is that my Wi-Fi keeps going in and out as far as connecting. at first it was the router and we got that fixed and it connected no problem, then today i leave and go somewhere and come back to connect to Wi-Fi.To find its not working and has done this on more than one occasion, can someone please tell me what the issue might be or is it a bug in cm7 on this ROM?

When I flashed my phone to cm7 everything works except for two issues, #1 the end button will not shut off applications like mixzing which I had to force close. The button just closes the phone.
# 2 the earphones and mic will not work on phone mode, the earphones will work on mixzing. Anyone have any idea's? I saw the post about plugging the earphones in and then rebooting and that worked for a minute or 2 then quit. Thanks

Open spare parts and go down to end button behavior

The earphones and mic for calls have never worked. Its been a bug thats been unfixable so far.

Ran into an extremely wierd problem yesterday. Was using my phone and suddenly it restarted. And got stuck it a boot loop. So i went into CWM to restore my backup for CM7.2 9/12. Got it to boot but when i went to update my apps i keep getting failed to download for everything. So i downloaded a fresh CM7.2 9/12 & 9/13 tried to boot both keep gettin same problem when im running gapps setup but instead of just giving me an error message it tries to download all my old apps that same time and they all fail. on top of that the market app FC everytime it fails to download. Ive tried flashing about 10 times so far can anybody help?

which gapps are you trying to flash, if it's the newer gapps, try flashing the older one 06 version.

Probably stupid question: I had CM7 with metroff flashed and then flashed another Rom and then reflashed CM7. Now do need to flash metroff again?

Ok.. not really an issue, just a weird glitch I guess. I recently had to flash back to stock due to my phone acting up. In doing so, I formatted everything, deleted everything from my SD card, etc. etc. etc...

Now, after reflashing CM7, I noticed that the default wallpaper has reverted back to one that I haven't had for several months now... This is mindboggling, seeing as how I was fairly certain that I pretty much wiped the memory clean with all the formatting and what not. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

And for the record, it's not a CM wallpaper, it's one that I created.
