Root CM7 Stable version constantly rebooting

I will be using my phone as usual and it will suddenly go back to the cyanogenmod boot screen and reboot itself. The first few times this happened caused me to reload the rom manually instead of using rom manager, making sure to erase all data and caches. Now I'm still getting the problem. Any ideas?

Man if you did a full wipe of data/cache/Dalvik and still have the problem, that's a bad sign. Other than battery health issues or possibly an app that oddly conflicts with the Rom, I don't know what it could be.

Only idea I have is to try the "Fix Permissions" option in Rom Manager. You definitely wiped Dalvik cache under the Advanced menu in Clockwork right?

mine i doing that as well, i tried fix permissions several times and it constantly keep doing it, its frustrating ass hell!

it could be a bad download. i would redownload it on a computer, transfer it to your phone via usb,and then use recovery to manually flash that and gapps. IMO rom manager is unreliable, and you are a little more likely to get a bad or incomplete download by using the phone to download.

however you download, compare the md5 sum to the one listed on the CM download link.

make sure you wipe data/cache/dalvik cache.

also make sure you do not use titanium backup to restore any system data. use titanium ONLY to restore apps and app data.

you also might continue using the nightlys rather than a stable release.as long as the nightlies continue to roll out, fixes are being applied that youre missing from your stable release.

i personally never bother with release candidates,or even the stable versions until they really are final and the nightlys stop ;)

Are you running the kernel that comes stock with CM7 or a different kernel?
