Just would like to get different thought on which rom is better cm7 or cm7.1?
Both are good but which would you give the edge?

CM7.1-RC1 !! Its much smoother than cm7 and cm7.1-rc1 is an upgraded version of cm7 so the edge for me is CM7.1-RC1

its been 7.1 for awhile now lol. CM7.1 = 2.3.4 and 7 was 2.3.3.

RC means a "Release Candidate". It's just that it's a release of the code that could become final if no bugs are found. and RC1 is the first and is faster.

+1 kinda lol, there was a RC0 b4 the RC1 and under normal circumstances the path to a final release is correct. Unfortunately for the ascend it will never truely see a final release as in a fully working bug free release as it is just a port of CM7 and not supported by CyanogenMod.
