Root CM7 wallpaper issues please help!

please help I am running cm7.1 with the latest savaged zen kernel and I cannot change my wallpaper I have wiped my daliv cache n regular cache. it was working fine when I first flashed the rom but once I either long press the homescreen or choose wallpaper from the options nothing pops up. I had the same problem with mikg rom except I could fix it by using home switcher going to the sense launcher n choosing it from there but it would only let me choose live wallpapers, if I chose a static one nothing would change. This trick didn't work for cm7 Any help would b greatly appreciated.

I would reflash the ROM see if that helps. wipe cache and dalvic only then reflash

thanks for the advice argedion but i reflashed twice and it did not work it just returned to the stock wallpaper any more suggestions anyone?http://androidforums.com/members/argedion.html

Hmm... sounds weird. Maybe try a different launcher? Other than more wiping.... that's all I can think of. I guess you could try OMFGB or something else... Eh?

Give Go Launcher a try its easy to use very theme-able and it just plain works.

tried wiping and flashing again and installed golauncher and when I tried it from there it says application not installed I went to the data folder and reinstalled the live wallpaper apk and the wallpaper picker and still the same results. very strange but driving me crazy I hate the stock wallpaper.

Have you tried the different ways of getting the wallpaper to change? Like you can press the homescreen, but you can also do it from the gallery. Maybe try that? Or a different rom possibly?
