I have 2 questions. This is my first time using cm7. My first question is, on htc stock rom changing Ringtones for each gmail notification is in settings while in gmail. It doesn't show now how do I change it? My second question is what kernel and where do you have to bring it to 1.8? Mine only goes to 1.5. Thanks
I use Tiamat Kernal, just put it on your sd card and flash it from recovery. The settings for CPU are under Cyanogenmod settings/ performance. Always go up little by little, sometimes going too high can cause issues. Just because you CAN clock to 2Gz doesn't mean you should.
Edit: Always do a backup before flashing anything, just in case.
There is no need to clock that high it's sure to cut your phone life in half and shred your batt to pieces
Exactly, I'm at 1344MHz. That's plenty fast. I get a Quadrant score around 2450 with that.
