Hi All,
First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong forum - I've only just joined.
I have a T-Moible UK HTC Hero (or rather G2 Touch as they call it) and I'm just a little confused about what some of the terms mean in the Android OS.
I just updated the ROM on my phone and I was under the impression that this was the same as the Android OS (taking me from 1.5 Cupcake to Eclaire or whatever is next), however I'm now not sure if this is correct.
I've installed an Application called 'Android System Info' and when I go to BuildInfo it has information such as this:
ID: Cupcake
Android Version: 1.5
So does this mean I haven't got the new version? I was sure I did have as it even completely wiped my phone!
Just incase you need it, this is some of the information from my Settings:
Firmware Version: 1.5
Build Number: 2.73.110.26
Software Version: 1.0.0.A6288
Excuse me if I'm being a complete noob. I might have gotten the wrong impression when I thought the BuildNumber update (ROM) was the Android OS update.
Thanks for any responses.
