Root com.verizon.messaging.vzmsgs-1.apk

It should be, but it isn't lol. I found it somewhere else under "pkg.apk" I don't know what the deal is with that, but I found it on my computer (recycle bin lol).

Anyways, I've made a few changes to colors. I NEED to know how to open the xml files into a readable format. I will post my results as soon as I can.

Right now, I'm going to test it on my phone, then upload it somewhere so it can be made into a zip theme (although I would like to know how to do that myself)
 
Because if they update the app, I am guessing all my hard work will be gone, but a zip would just change the images within the app. I could be wrong, I'm new to this....

I will probably post it as an apk within the hour. I just need to figure out how to change it from rar to apk

Oh wait, I need to sign it, don't I? It's going to take a bit longer...

I'm getting a parsing error. How do I fix that?
