Compatible cases for the AT&T version.

Two days with the above case now and I'm definitely a huge fan of the all TPU glossy case vs. the half matte TPU case. I don't see any weight posted for the cases, but I can tell you for sure this one is lighter and it almost feels like the stock weight of the phone with this case on. I'm very very impressed.

+1 diztronics/tpucases.com for excellent customer service, they sent me the glossy one before I even had a chance to send back the matte case

I know what you mean by loud lol and I'm telling you this case is not at all, it's understated like I said above. I can't believe how sleek it looks and it fits snug, which is great for OCD people like me that don't like looking at cases that don't fit perfectly.

I put the pictures on Amazon. And your buyers remorse is justified :), this case is that nice.

Sure, rub it in! Jerk! ;)

On a side note, i dropped my phone for the first time with the TPU case, on asphault, and it was completely unscathed. I went to show my hubby later and couldn't even find where it landed on the case. The case still looks brand new.

Well, I dropped my phone with this new case and it bounced right back into my hand and also no blemishes.

With my first gen Captivate I had a Amzer case similar to this one (actually exact, except for the obvious fit differential). Anyways, I used to switch between the Amzer and the Body Glove... though I always preferred the Amzer.

Just ordered another one today.

I ended up buying a soft-shell case by ROCKET FISH MOBILE.

Pretty low quality and cheap but it works.

Btw, according to drop tests online, it appears that maybe the S2 doesn't really need a cover or screen.

No scratches on screen and no shattering like the iPhone 4/4S.

Pretty impressive stuff.

Ha Ha!!! That's true. I already dropped my 4n twice, nothing happened. Just few scratches . Awesome phone.

Had a hard time deciding between the matte TPU case posted by zs3889 and the smoke case posted by acp. Went with the matte.

Noticed similar TPU smoke cases are available for international version on ebay for a couple bucks. If they have them later for At&T version, might get one of those too.

The case I got for mine was the Ballistic soft/hard case. Since I work outside at the Airport here in Vegas..really needed something to protect it and the case really does a excellent job at that.

Based on the positive reviews of the TPU case, mine arrived today from Amazon and I like it!
Thanks to the members who posted their thoughts/reviews on this case ;)

got the high gloss black tpu, no need for expensive cases anymore, those days are over. i always hated those cases that snap on and make it a pita to take out and handle your naked device.

Why do people buy this over the *bay version that is $3?

Curious to know.

Been using the matte TPU case for a few days, works great. Like the screen protector that came with it too. Cut to size and has a cutout for ear speaker. I suck at installing protectors, so got a couple of bubbles aorund edges, but don't show when screen is on, so... meh.

The bay ones I saw were for the international S2. Got a link for one that fits the AT&T version?

Sure...as I mentioned earlier, the only thing it doesn't have is cut outs for the volume and power rockers...which I like to keep out dirt/dust, etc.

Makes no difference to me what ppl buy.. just found it interesting ppl were paying 3-4x for basically the same case. Well then again, the amazon one does have a screen protector. :p

I liked it so much I bought 3 now.

TPU case, $2.95 *bay

I find it astonishing that retailers and phone stores charge $35 for simple cases that you can get on Amazon or Ebay for $5 or less. And yet people keep buying them for $35.

I laughed in the AT&T salesman's face when he showed me their cases. I went in a week later with my $12 (shipped, no tax) slider they had for $40 plus tax.

I only paid $50 for the freaking phone on black Friday!

I just ordered:

The kickstand intrigues me, I will do a review after it shows up. $17 is worth the gamble.

I got this case last night and stuck it on my phone right away. The kickstand works pretty well, better than expected however there are some annoyances with the case. This is a hard case made of shiny smudge prone plastic so it's hard to keep clean, also the seam all around the side has excess plastic so every time you pick up your phone you feel the seam. That might wear down over time.

All in all for $17 it's not a bad case at all and all the hole line up correctly.

Try using a single edge razor blade or exacto knife to trim the parting line flash. Use a shallow angle so you don't accidentally gouge out a divot.

I just bought the case mate tough case and I am sold on this case. I was running late to work this morning and I am running up a wet sidewalk and I slip and eat total you know what. I had my phone with my new case in my hand when I tried to catch myself. The phone must have hit the floor so hard that the SD card came loose and my s2 pretty much said not to do that again.

I took the case off and made sure the SD card was fully inserted and reboot. Not a scratch on the phone or the case! For a $17 case I'm a very happy camper. I got the case here Case mate Tough Case AT&T Galaxy S II SGH-i777 - Black -TheCellGuru.com

Just a quick question for all these cases. Many phone cases I've purchased over the years have been too sticky/rubbery to slide in and out of my pocket. Do any of these have the same issues?
