Root Completely bricked. How do I SBF from here?

I've done this 4 times now, the last time following the steps above EXACTLY. And I still got stuck on the red Motorola logo. I checked all my files and they appear to be correct based on everyone's posts. I tried the battery pull and reboot and still hangs at red logo. Anyone have any ideas?

I ran into the same problem as you. I SBF'ed about 5x now only to get to the bootloader screen. I did this and it worked...

SBF to stock
install z4root and perm root
install droid x bootstrap
reboot into recovery
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
then goto advanced and wipe devik cache
goto install from zip and install gbdxrooted.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
then goto advanced and wipe devik cache
reboot

that seemed to work for me when nothing else did
 
My dxgbrooted.zip file is 184,313,550 bytes.

Ugh! If SBFing back to my rooted Froyo works (I've lost the ability to place and receive calls since going to GB), I'm just gonna stay.
 
can anyone help me i installed gb and everything was fine but i wanted to go back to froyo so i wiped data and installed stock 2.3.40 and installed fine but then instead of rebooting i tried to restore a liberty backup and the phone froze so i battery pulled. now im stuck i cant get into any recovery mode when i hold volume power and camera all i get is a screen that says bootloader 30.04 i dont know what to do please help.

to go back to froyo you have to SBF with RSDLite, you cant just flash in Clockwork

You need to hold the home button and power up to get to the triangle/droid animation, then press both volume buttons and this will get you to factory recovery.
 
thanks guys rsd lite worked. I had to use my sisters comp which still has xp to get it work but everyone looks good thanks guys!

then use the full sbf and you should be good, same thing happened to me last night

thanks, did that and got to the blue lettered screen. woud not reboot. would not restore an older rom. there was nothing I could do to get back. warning to all do not wipe the boot when you are in android backup.
