Yeah, apparently lol. I'm staying out of that though and just gonna keep doing my thing and having fun. I have nothing but respect for those guys and don't want to get involved in it.

might give tazz's asop rom a test drive,but im lookin fwd to the next CCM7 update. i dont care if its a full wipe,since i change roms like i change my socks,i got setup down to a science

Hey, just wanted to give you a heads up on something else that is giving me problems: streaming apps. In my case, Pandora, Dogg Catcher, and Stitcher Radio. After a few min of listening to any of them, they just stop playing. My connection is fine. Opted to have my screen stay on for 30 min before timing out, just in case that was the issue. Didn't have this specific issue with GSB, so I'm not sure if it's a new prob for my device or for the ROM.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't use any of those apps but I'll get a Pandora account and see if I can figure out what's causing that.

The wifi still isn't wanting to connect this time either. Its starting to piss me off bad now lol. Hopefully I'll get it figured out soon. It must be working for gsb .... maybe its me... lol

is he using some of your tweeks? it is pretty smooth. when i ran his cm7 port it had the same lag in it that gsb has i like AOSP,but have grown accostomed to some of CMs lil tweeks. ill leave gin tazz on hrere till the next CCM7 is ready

Aside from a few glitches, this has been the smoothest, fastest ROM I've run on my phone, so I am not about to jump ship to try something that won't live up to my now high, expectations.

Take your time with the update.

i feel you there... ive been using other phones,so i have terribly high explanations for my poor lil buddy

youd be absolutely amazed how smooth and fast CM7 is on a supported device like the incredible.its soooo fluid and so nice. i try not to compare eris roms to D1,inc,or TB roms but its hard not to.

i 100% agree condemned is the closest thing to what im used to on other phones that ive run on the eris,yet. CS must be doin a lil thinkin outside the box

@Scotty... I'm not real sure what he is using in that rom honestly. As far as I know he isn't using anything that I've done with this but I think a big reason is the fact that there is nothing extra or special in it. It's just stripped down and bare bones which is something I'd like to do as well but haven't really had the time to mess with a second rom. I am pleased to hear that you guys are fairly satisfied with what I have so far though I just hope I can keep that momentum with future releases.

I had something similar happen sometime over night. It could have been part of the normal freezes I've been having with any cm7 ROM, but it seemed worse. My alarm went off, but the phone was unresponsive to the touch screen or the capacitive buttons. It did lock when I pushed the power button and turned back on when I pushed it again, but I had to pull the battery to get it to do anything else. I'm glad the alarm still went off though.

it is bare bones... the download is only about 45 mb omgb is another barebones "AOSP" rom,also very stripped down(51 mb) but its not as smooth as tazz. but i think that that is largely because tazz actually takes a second look and tries to make improvements my impressions of r2DoesInc's incredible roms are that hes got alot of good starts,but not much thats actually polished and finished,and his AOSP GB rom is somewhat the same.

im sure your future CCM7 releases will be good,and im lookin forward to an AOSP barebones rom from you.

i was pokin around on the hero forum a lil this monring and saw a sensible gingerbread... maybe you should try and port that one over and get it working for us

I wanted to look into that but Tazz has been working on it already. From what he said we need the kernel ported for it. I guess conaps kernel wont work with it... I'm not real sure....... yet

as ive said before,im not a fan of sense. but i played with a doubleshot port on my TB and have to admit the mytouch's "espresso" sense 3.0 is pretty slick. i dont know that the magic port is the same,but from the screenies it looks similar.

I will let you know if I have/hear of something I'm charging up now to flash this update again and test the wifi. Hopefully this time it works . Once I get that working I'm gonna start messing with a stripped version and see how it comes out.

@metlcat... is that the first time you've had the freeze up like that? I'm wondering what may have caused it... I have my alarm go off 2 times a day every day and haven't had that happen to me... I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed that it was an unusual event that won't happen again...
