You would have to kill that snooze mighty early to get a jump on me. I'm normally having a cup of coffee between 3:30 and 4:00 in the morning.

I'm planning to post an update tonight so I'll see if I can't work that in there for you I've been trying out a couple of launchers and I still haven't decided that I like one better than the other yet so I'm either going to leave the CM ADW in there for now or I might put in Launcher2 this time and see how that goes over. I'll decide sometime this evening though lol. Any thought from you guys on the sd read cache that was added to 3.5? Did you think that was smoother than 3? I didn't really notice where it made much difference. I kinda thought 3.0 was smoother and that was the only difference. Any thoughts?

im irritated when my alarm goes of at 5:00,and theres only 2 days it does that... the others are 6:00. only way id be up at 2:45 or 3:30 is if i hadnt gont to bed yet i actually noticed very little difference between 3 and 3.5. theyre both really smooth for me

lol. I left the font stock this time and I took out a couple of things... I removed ROM manager, Live wallpaper picker, and the magic smoke live wallpaper. If anyone actually uses those I'll make a zip to add them back for anyone that wants those but I gotta say... maybe it's a placebo effect or something... but this SOB seems awful fast I also got the full zoom camera back (not sure if you noticed it was 2X lol) no force closes or anything on it either so that's good I did a few tweaks in the build prop too. One of the first things I did after I flashed was grabbed the house phone and called myself... guess what.... first ring I call the call pic and answer or decline sliders this update is looking very promising to me but now it's time for the REAL test..... the users
The old time tv is gone (that is a favorite with everyone CS).
Rom manager is gone. Haven't checked the volume levels yet cause the old girl is still asleep. I flashed over 3.5 like you said CS but loading apps seems a little sluggish (1st time). Overall I think my phone has finally found a rom it likes. I would love it if there was a way to steamline it even more. Out of the 5 home screens I only use the one and it only has 6 apps on it. I bought a g tab from Martimus and I'll probably put more apps on it cause it's a dual core and can run them faster. I wish I knew code then I could streamline a rom to my likeing. You have to make your rom that's good for the many and not the one. Seems I've heard that somewhere before.
It's 3:15am here on the east coast (sorry scotty) and v4 is downloaded, flashed and running.
app loading will be a little slow on first boot but after the first boot should be back to normal
So far I haven't had a chance to do a lot of testing on the new sound levels so I left the one's I had... The loud ones not stock.... in the rom lol. I'll see what I can find on the screen off animation. To be honest I didn't notice nor did I remember it had that lol. I always have my animations turned off

Let me know how you make out with your incoming calls now too. I'm not getting any delay on the incoming screen with it now. I've tried it with the screen off and with an app running and just the screen on and it was real smooth with no delay. Screen came up right with the first ring. Before I could get it out of my case when I heard it ringing and still had to wait for the incoming screen to come up lol.
Try this for your screen off animation. I just tried it and it's working for me now. Got to settings>display>animations and turn them off, exit out and go back and set them back to normal. Should work again, might need a reboot but I didn't. See if that brings it back for you. I never noticed it because like I said... I've been leaving the animations off lol. It's a lot faster with them off and helps with battery life too
It worked after a reboot but if it helps to run a little faster I turned them off.
I personally think it makes a very nice difference

i finally found a minor bug... i woke the phone up on the 3d gallery. the pics were fuzzy and funky lookin
otherwise still runnin great.
also i feel ya on the sleep... i dont seem to ever be able to sleep a whole night without wakin up a bunch of times for different things
