Root condemned cm7

Just like any other Rom. I recommend before flashing to mount usb while in recovery just before flashing and deleting the android secure folder. Also if you are coming from a 2.1 or 2.2 rom it's not a bad idea to backup your SD Card and format it in recovery as well. You can always try without doing those but if you have problems you may want to reboot into recovery and do one of those then do a full wipe and reflash. Also be sure to flash gapps after flashing the Rom.

Whenever I flash this rom it takes forever to boot, so long I reflash gsb does it normally take long?

1st boot can sometimes take up to 5 minutes however I can't speak for the other guys using it.. it only took a few minutes on the first boot for myself... maybe check the md5 or compare the file size to be sure it's fully copied to your sd card?

Are you wiping dalvik only? Or are you doing a full wipe? Coming from another rom you'll need a full wipe.. wipe everything you can. I know the OP on xda says Dalvik wipe only for V4 but that was meaning if you were updating from a previous version of CCM7. Coming from any other Rom will require a full wipe.

Im coming from GSB, full wipe will fix it? ill give it a try

Im running it now and i cant get the marketplace to load, it says loading, i flashed the gapps, whats wrong?

How did you flash it? Did you flash the rom and then gapps before rebooting? Scotty said in one of his posts that when he did that it didn't work properly. So flash the rom reboot then go back into recovery flash gapps then reboot again. Let us know how that worked.

Also,.. how long after first boot areyoutrying toopen the market? If the phone is syncing and restoring your info from Google.it will be very slow and take a while.

the prollem i was having when i flashed the rom and gapps at the same time was as soon as an app tried to install,it went into a bootloop. it was fine until i went to the market and downloaded somethin, then as soon as i did that,BAM! bootloop  i saw references in the xda thread to the same thing happening when someont tried to sideload an app using a file manager.

so if thats the prollem youre having, then you need to wipe it all and start over. flash rom, reboot. back to recovery, flash gapps, reboot. :)

if the market is just sayin "loading" for a long time, then this is prolly your answer:

if you give it time and are still having that prollem, does it load eventually? if so is it slow everytime? in the past when ive had issues with market loading slow and force closing, id just have to open it a few times and the prollems seem to automagically fix themselve :confused: so you may just try opening it a few times and see if it gets better.

failing all that, you might try the install method i listed above,if you flashed the rom and gapps at the same time.

hang in there, seems like youre havin some issues, but this rom is smooth... youll like it when you get it goin :)

How were the teaser screens bc? :)
:eek::eek::eek::eek: screenshots!? are they on xda? ive had hardly phone or computer time the last couple days so i havent seen em. i cant look now cause i gotta go do easter stuff with my family

oh well,ill look later.

BC,i havent gotten a chance to look at your thread yet,i was up late gettin my droid ready to donate to my dad :) i will check it out tho  mebbe while im sitting in church ;)
