Help Confused UK Android user. Google Checkout??

Hello all,

Sorry for the stupid question..

Recently changed to Android, Desire HD...

I already had a Google account with a CC registered to the account.

I have purchased 2 apps from the marketplace, downloaded and installed etc...

Some time later I'm checking my online banking and I've been charged the price of the app (

Have you contacted Google and asked them?

That's strange, doesn't charge me a card fee, from the UK with Nationwide.

Contact Google if I was you.

Edit -

Checked my back account and it would seem that I've been charged several times for app purchases which goes by the description: Non-UK commission fee.

I've had the same problem, albeit that the price of the app I bought was quoted in Euros. I contacted the seller and they said that card companies sometimes charge for doing the currency exchange - I've since seen this information on Google's help pages too.

Stupid really, shame you can't use PayPal.

I have changed my goggle account to another card. Will purchase another app and let you guys know how I get on....
