Help Connecting to computer.

I have the same PC, but haven't tried connecting yet. Try a different USB port and/or rebooting your PC. I had a similar issue when I first plugged in my TB coming from an Incredible
 
my nexus is plugged into a W7 x64 right now copying some pictures over. plugged in, windows recognized it as a nexus right away no issues or driver install at all, you don't have the box checked for non-compliant OS's do you (its in the windows shade when you plug it in)
 
Well it failed driver install first time, but as someone suggested, I rebooted and that went fine. I then set the USB connection to media device..., nothing showed up..., when I selected it as a camera, now I have access to the entire internal storage.

I connected to Win 7 32bit and it immediately popped up as a drive, transferring a bunch of pics/music/vids now.
