Root connecting to linux cpu

No prob, everything seems to be in order but that doesn't mean I can't figure out how to connect the damn thing via downloading mode lol so i'll cool it for now but still gonna keep trying. Thank you for all your help and effort again, been a great help

Well I spent seven hours working on it with no luck. So I guess I will look into heimdall and see how that works. The xp vm seems to be hanging up on the usb composite drivers. It installs the drivers but will not start therefore it cannot see the rest of the components of the phone to install the rest of the drivers correctly.

I see, well again thank you for your efforts. I will keep trying things on my end, just might be touch and go until the weekend again.

Still working on this so don't loose hope, just haven't got a solid solution just yet.
