Help Contacts and Facebook

I want all my Facebook contacts out of my contacts area. So I remove Facebook and re-add it, intent on unchecking Sync Contacts. However, they are still synced. Then I go to Display Options, and see that it is checked there. Unchecking it doesn't work for those already in my contacts, and removing Facebook and re-adding it has it automatically checked. Is there any way I can take them out permanently?

Go into your contacts, then settings, then accounts I think, then you can select facebook and u-check it there.

The only thing it has there is Remove Account. In Display Options -> Facebook, there is a All Contacts area. Unchecking that keeps the contacts there, though. And when I remove Facebook and reinstall it, that is automatically checked.

un-check it, then reboot the phone.

I just rebooted and they are still there, but the check is gone. I'll just remove my Facebook account. I can always use the browser when I want to check something, and it will make the contacts look better without it. Thanks anyways.

Might just need to log out of FB and back in.
