Help Contacts keep disappearing until reboot

Running 5.0, recently uninstalled Viber and installed Hangouts dialer but those are the only two recent app changes i can think of accessing my contacts. Tend to think it's a 5.0 problem.

I was losing contacts on my Note3 but not on my Tab S or on my S4. The only contacts account on the Note3 that wasnt on the other two was the AT&T address book. I wasnt using it, but i disabled it and my contacts came back immediately. Problem solved, for now.

Well, that wasn't it. Tried two things that've worked for a few hours so far.

1. In the apps mgr i cleared data for google contacts and re-synced.
2. Both my gmail app and google inbox app were syncing gmail. I went with Inbox and stopped syncing the gmail app.

Since then my contacts have stopped disappearing. Was getting persistent sync errors with gmail that, looking at when the sync error occurred and when my contacts would disappear led me to solution #2.
So far so good...

My contacts are synced with both a Yahoo account and a MS Exchange account. On my phone I deleted both accounts, restarted the phone and then added both accounts back on my phone, ensuring sync was enabled for contacts (as well as email, calendar etc). This resolved my problem with all contacts now fully available. Hope this helps.
