CONTEST: Kindle Fire Forum Contest!

(1) Plants vs. Zombies. I believe they should make an HD, optimized version. Braaaains! Hint hint, PopCap. I know you're reading this.

(2) IPS screen. I was initially worried about the quality of the display. I suppose this classifies as more of a spec, rather than a feature.

1. I'm really looking forward to having a mobile solution for my Amazon Prime Streaming. That app will make the Amazon Prime media options really worth it!

2. I think the Amazon Cloud is really great. Given the Kindle Fire has 8GB of space being able to store Amazon media on the Cloud will save lots of space for users with easy access to wifi like myself.

1. I look forward to fast web browsing with the new Silk browser and dual-core processor the most.

2. Netflix, Hulu+ and Amazon Prime videos all at my disposal got me all googly-eyed!

Fascinate dev jt1134 does great work with MTD/AOSP ROMs and kernels (in fact, all MTD/AOSP builds on the Fascinate owe their existence to him because he was the one who made the MTD file system possible on the Fascinate) - perhaps he might get a Kindle Fire and dev for it (he already does work on porting CM7 for the original Galaxy Tab for Verizon)

1)
- Pulse Reader
- Amazon Reader
- Angry Birds
- Netflix on a bigger screen (than my phone)
2)
- Amazon movies and music apps
- Reading e-Magazines while using listening to Music
- OF COURSE the PRICE

2. TSM Pool Party (in case you're unfamiliar with TSM's work, check out www.teamsbrissenmod.net - they've done great things with the Fascinate, the Droid Incredible 2, and the Droid Charge). Pool Party, in case you didn't already know, is AOSP. If I win (or end up buying) the Kindle Fire, I might learn how to do development just to try to port Pool Party and to make it tablet-friendly

MIUI offers great features, including a customizable theme engine (meaning you can build themes one part at a time) and easy access to settings not available on most other ROMs

1) I played angry birds on almost every single device I have ever used... except the Kindle fire!! I cant wait to play angry birds on the fire to add it to my list!
2) The ability to read all the books you want for (i think about $80) is by far the coolest feautre yet!

As seen on phandroid... this contest is for the awesome members of our Kindle Fire Forums! See the complete rules here:

So...

(1) What app, game, magazine, newspaper, or other activity are you MOST looking forward to using on the Kindle Fire?

(2) What feature of the Kindle Fire excites you the most?

-----
1) I want a tablet so I can use my CourseSmart app and keep all my textbooks in one place!
2) Truly I'm excited about the prospects of rooting it and turning it in to the full-on tablet it should be.

1) Activity I'm looking forward to: Prime streaming integrated into a tablet
2) Feature I'm excited about: Silk browser

1. Watching NFL games via the sunday ticket app and playing games on a bigger screen!
2. I love Amazon Cloud and can't wait to see what this Silk Browser is all about.

The Glitch kernel, in case you haven't heard of it, is widely known in the Galaxy S communities (the international i9000, the Captivate, the Vibrant, the Fascinate, etc.), mainly for its speed and advanced settings (more governors and schedulers to choose from than most custom kernels, GPU acceleration settings, for example)

1) I'm most looking forward to the Kindle app on this guy. Yes, I know it's a boring answer, but I really enjoy reading on a backlit display. Laying in bed and pouring though a book is really nice.

2) The feature that I like the best is the 7" form factor. It's something that can fit in a coat pocket :)

1. I'm most interested in getting videos for my 3 year old to replace having her watch them on my wife's old Samsung Moment -- still working, but starting to give green screens and little battery life.
2. The form factor is exciting as we don't currently have anything like this in our house.

So...

(1) What app, game, magazine, newspaper, or other activity are you MOST looking forward to using on the Kindle Fire?

(2) What feature of the Kindle Fire excites you the most?

1. I'm looking forward to Comics on the Kindle Fire. I just don't the room to collect the books anymore so having them digital is great.

2. I am looking forward to all the Amazon goodness that comes along with the Fire. It will be pretty nice have all the apps in one place.

1. Honestly I think it will be a great eReader, so the Kindle app is I can't wait for.

2. I am most excited about using the silk browser.

1) Comixology's comic reading app. Trying to read comics on a phone works, but is annoying.
2) Obviously, the big(ger than phone) screen is the main attraction in my case.

I love the kindle app and use it every day on my phone/tablet. It would be great to have a kindle fire. I like the size cause sometimes a 10 inch tablet is just too big and too heavy. 7 inches are perfect to take on the train/in the park/to starbucks/...

I like the free cloud storage feature and that I can access the whole amazon content I'm already used to. Whispersync is great as well.

So free storage, 7 inch, amazon, performance and ANDROID how cool is this???

Oh yeah and dual-core processor in a 199 dollar tablet - what else to say?!

I WANT IT SO BAD...

Please, developers, if you build custom ROMs for the Kindle Fire, make sure the Amazon Video On Demand app still works, if at all possible - this is really the feature that makes the Kindle Fire competitive with the likes of the iPad, as it offers movies and tv purchases comparable to iTunes

I too am curious about the new browser, and really looking forward to gaming on it, especially things like wordfeud and hextacy.

1. - Playing Cute the Rope on that beautiful screen
2. - The browser - I really want to see if it's really all it's cracked up to be.

Developers, please at least try to take advantage of the larger screen size and don't just enlarge the icons and such to make the tablet look like a stretched-out phone :D

1. I'm hoping to be able to use a ps1 emulator on it if someonne gets it working on this tablet

2. I am most interested in seeing how this new Silk browser performs
