Contract ?

Can the Galaxy tab had with out a contract. I just want to use it on wifi thanks.

HSN is currently selling it on payments, on a non contract price. It is the sprint version, so it is alittle tougher to bypass the activation warning, and to root it, but still pretty easy.

For the sprint version ?

Download samsung kies.
Plug the galaxy tab into computer
Turn on usb debugging
Download and launch super one click
Root your tab.

Download the premium version of Titanium back up or similar app(i used AntTek App Manager)
Freeze the following apps;
Software update
System Updates
Sprint Installer
Sprint Zone

No more activation warning.

I bought the verizon one with no 2yr contract acivated it then canceled the contract

I thought it was suppose to bypass it. that's was samsung told me to do, until I told them I had the sprint version
