Help Convert problems

I'm trying to view an video on my phone and for some reason the audio and video is out of sync. It's not much a problem at the beginning but more later on, not sure if its cause of the file and its variable bit rate(assuming it is variable) or the actual device. Works fine on my laptop. Dunno how to convert it to a playable file.

Here are the parameters of the file

Video
File type wmv
File size 308mb
Frame width 640
Frame height 480
Data rate 1372 kbps
Total bitrate 1500 kbps
frame rate 29 frames/second

Audio
Bit rate 128 kbps
channels 2 stereo
audio sample rate 44 khz

The best and easiest would be to convert on your laptop first and then transfer on your phone. There are various programs that can do. If you google it, you'll find nice and even free online converters. I'm not sure which extension would work the best though. I'm sure google can tell you that too!

Sorry what i meant to say is i have been converting it before on my laptop and even though it works fine on my laptop, it always seems to be out of sync on my phone and same problem with the original file, works fine on laptop but not on phone. Used programs and tried many file types wmv, avi, flv and mp4 but still has that out of sync problem, hence why that assumption has come to mind that it could be the phone?

hmmm not sure....I rarely watch videos on the phone. Have you tried uploading a different video to see if the problem persists?

I guess that particular video is somehow the problem...I'm sure there is a way around it if you find the right conversion. But I wouldn't be able to tell you which one
