For screenshots no idea.
Copying text from a webpage:
1-Go to the page
2-Select menu-more-copy text (or long touch in screen and copy text)
3-With your finger, slide it over the text you want to copy.
4-Up the finger, your text have been copied.
5-Go yo your favourite text application
6-Paste (usually long touch in screen for option pop up)
7-Celebrate your first copy-paste with your friends.
TIP: if the text it's long, use the trackball while your finger it's touching the screen.
TIP 2: to copy links, long touch in link - copy URL (or email)

in Market application called Screenshot this will alow you to take screen shot.

Be aware that you need to be rooted to use the Screenshot app.

I finally bumped into the answer for this. dxTop Home Alternative (downloaded yesterday from Android Store) has a screenshot feature, which does NOT require rooting. Once installed, you simply longpress the trackball. A popup tells you the name of the file, and that it's been saved to the SD card.
I also read, somewhere, that either aHome or OpenHome has this feature as well -- sorry, don't remember which.
While I'm here, a huge thanks to everyone who posts. I've been able to educate myself to the ins and outs of this MyTouch, and am loving it! This whole thing started as a mere trial, since Radio Shack offers a 30-day window (yes, I had the RS guy write that on my receipt). But one week in, I'm just about hooked.
The main deal for me is Google Voice, since I'm self-employed. Now that I've experienced that powerhouse, my iPhone has been relegated to also-ran status. And, a hugely pleasant surprise: the MyTouch is a dang good device in and of itself! It's all the little things that mean so much-- the ability to set profiles, so the sound turns off/on per the time I dictate; Google Reader articles downloading in the background while I attend to something else; an always-present Notifications drawer, so I'm not a slave to, nor victimized by, missed serial popups; the ability to add truly helpful widgets to the home screen-- not to mention replacing it altogether with a comprehensive scheme of my choosing. The list of goodness goes on and on, mostly due to two reasons: a truly open platform; and, background multi-tasking. To me, it's a matter of form/style (iPhone) over substance/function (MyTouch).
In short, once Google Voice was rejected for the iPhone, I could no longer escape the feeling that I merely rented that device. With the MyTouch, everything confirms that **I** am the owner. Kudos to the Android Community. I am beyond impressed!!
