Root Corrupting My Roms

My Nexus 4 keeps corrupting my Roms and shuts down. I boot in recovery and it doesn't shut down so I know is not hardware. Please someone help. What could be the problem? I recently replace the front and back glass so I tough maybe there's a short somewhere but when I turn the phone on in recovery it doesn't shut down. When I put a new Rom I't may last like 20 minutes before it starts shutting down. I'm about to give it to my pawn shop for $100.00 since they don't turn it on anymore because the have all the info in their computers, but I love the phone and can't afford another one right now.

The problem can be caused by a few things.

Try to do a factory reset from the recovery screen.

With the device back to stock, see if the problem occurs.
If it does not occur than you are flashing a rom that is not compatible with your device. Usually when you use the wrong roms the system automatically shuts down to prevent critical errors.

If you revert to stock and the problem occurs then you have lose of power somewhere on the device. I suggest start looking around the battery. Maybe the battery is shorting out or it may not get a good charge if there is a problem with charger/charger port.

Hope that helps!
