Costco accepting discounts?

When I sign in to my Verizon it shows that I can be upgraded for a $50 credit. Does this also apply if I get my phone from Costco?

No, that's only if you buy from a corporate store, heard stories that third party retailers honor that but not likely

I asked the guy at a costco kiosk about this recently, and no- they don't honor NE2 or other carrier deals. He said that their deal is to beat that $50 discount with the accessories package and/or price cut.

I've never not purchased a phone directly from Verizon . But I might get it at Costco this time around . My question is this. I charged my Rezound directly to my Verizon account and I just paid it off two days ago . My question is can I do the same thing at Costco ? or will I just have to pony up the money up front. I like being able to spread it out after a month especially since I just paid my Verizon bill that had my Rezound on it
and is there truth to the fact that the Galaxy Nexus will be $289 at costco but will come with case, screen protectors, car charger , extra battery and dock ??

No, just a leather pouch, screen protectors, and a car charger. No docks or batteries.

ahh then it's not really worth it I won't use a pouch already have a car charger and VZW screen protectors are worse then the $.10 ones on ebay

Hey guys! I'll just confirm what others have said. The $30 or $50 credits are with the NE2 upgrades which can only be done at a VZW corporate store. In most cases, we beat their prices by at least $50 (and often, even more). Even when we don't, we're still cheaper, and you always get a leather carrying case, car charger, and screen protectors with any touchscreen smartphone.

Unfortunately, no you can't. This is because Costco has already bought these phones from Verizon, and you are now purchasing their inventory, not Verizon's.

The warehouse price is $289.99 before an instant rebate code can be applied. However, I don't suspect there will be one as when we were ready to launch it last week, the price was to be $289. It will come with the leather carrying case, screen protectors, an all-in-one charger, and a nifty lil carrying case for the whole package.

Yeah the nifty lil carrying case is a plastic bag!

Local Costco told me today that they wouldn't be selling the phone until 12/22...but for what its worth I don't think anyone knows when/where this phone will be out.
