Root could use some help rooting problem

Ok I bought an HTC EVO 4g for sprint from my buddy who rooted it with mikroms it worked great i loved how it worked, went through and tried deleting all his accounts and setting up mine. However the phone would not let me delete his google account without doing a system wipe. Long story short I did the system wipe. now the phone will boot up then go to the stock background screen with the bubbles and the only thing I see is the top notification bar which actually has the battery life and a missed call and all that stuff (battery life is still in a rooted deal look.) Also it used to come up saying mikroms where android is normally in the boot and now it says android again.


I just want to fix it whether rooting on unrooting is easier I need this phone working please help me.

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!
well when you wipe the system partition you just wiped the rom clean. you will need to flash a custom rom. do you know what recovery you have?

did you want to try another rom? or do you want mikg back?
 
all I know is know is I hold the power and the vol down it brings up supersonic EVT2-3 SHIP S-OFF and when i go into recovery it brings up black screen green font HTC in the center "android system recovery" "Build: RA-supersonic-v2.3"

And It doesnt much matter to me I just want to get it working so whatever u suggest.

ok good you have amon ra as your recovery which is one of the best. so lets give you mikg3.11 with instructions:

1.download this file:
MikG3.11 full wipe

2.connect the phone to the pc via usb then go into recovery.
3.select usb-ms toggle. a window should pop up with the sd card's content. move the file over to the sd card.
4.go back to the main menu in recovery and select wipe. next wipe everything except for the sd card.
5.go back to the main menu and select flash .zip from sd card.
6.navigate to the mikg3.11 file using the up and down vol buttons and select it via the power button.
7.once it is done flashing then reboot the phone.

congrats you have just flashed a custom rom!!!!!!!!!!!!
