Root CPU Governors

I am running Harmonia 2.09 and really love it. I noticed that LeslieAnn suggests running Smartass V2 governor on her download page. I use Set CPU as my app for Governors but its not on the list. Is this something I can download and flash as a rom?. I cant seem to find it anywhere and thought it would already be built in to harmonia.

You may want to try a different CPU setting app. Here's one that works with Harmonia: No Frills CPU Classic

I have tried different ones including no frills cpu but the choices are still the same, "conservative", "on demand" , "interactive" and "performance" I currently have it set 729/480 on interactive and its good if phone is idle, but if Im surfing or downloading then drains pretty quick. Performance and responsiveness are great so its a fair trade-off but just wondering if the recommended settings for Harmonia would be better.

If you like Harmonia, you could also take the boot.IMG from the latest MiRaGe ROM and put it in the Harmonia zip. That would give you an updated kernel, along with better performance.

I'm pretty new when it comes to these things so excuse the ignorance, but would flashing the mirage kernel with flash gui acomplish the same thing?

Never mind, just out of curiosity I flashed the latest mirage kernel and it actually reduced the number of governors to 3. Could not tell if performance was better seemed snappy but i didnt test it out so I reflashed Harmonia. As an,aside would the mirage ROM be a better choice in general since it still has some support?

Thanks for the reply everyone. I also got rid of Set Cpu as I did not realize that a governor was built in to the ROM and battery use is much improved. I installed CPU spy to monitor since its not too intrusive.

I tried this suggestion and what a difference. I flashed the latest MirAge kernel and overclocked to 806/122 as suggested with the interactive governor and both battery life and performance are awesome. At first I thought something was wrong because the battery indicator was at 100% for about an hour after I unplugged from the charger and that was with me surfing.
