Help crappy contact photo quality?

does any one know why//or have a fix for when adding a facebook contact and their profile picture loading, why when they call, or when the picture is shown in text messages is the quality of the picture so terrible?
 
That was a problem on the Inc and Eris as well. It's very frustrating. If you go into the Inc section and try searching contact photo you should see a thread on it.
 
I heard it said that it is because when syncing contacts with google the picture is made smaller thus making quality horrible. On my Inc they would look fine until i sync contacts
 
The Fascinate early on had the same issue. Very annoying, I tried Facebook for sense and the Reg, and its still crappy. It's a bug in the phone. Even when I send an mms the pic is crappy. Prob be fixed with an update.

That's exactly correct and causes problems on the iPhone too, google has been petitioned for years to fixnthis to no avail.
 
1. Go to market and add in Facebook for HTC Sense
2. Once that is installed, Go into settings - Accounts & Sync and Sync w/ the HTC sense version and NOT with the regular Facebook version.
3. Enjoy crisp pictures again.

*Not sure what regular Facebook was included if the one for sense works better.
