There are two places for a picture. One under user profile which only displays on your infor page. The other further down is your avatar which displays next to posts.

Welcome to the AndroidForums, Crocobill :).

Glad you signed-up with us!

By the way, is your avatar a picture of "Dave" from 2001: A Space Odyssey? (great movie, by the way :)).

Cheers!

Yes it is David Bowman indeed !!!
2001, a space Odyssey is my fav movie of all time. I love how is is a subtil mix of science fiction, classical music and philosophy.

LOL, that is awesome!

Yeah, I love the 2001 / 2010 movies and have read the books, too!

The original 2001 movie is really a masterpiece! Amazing that they could make a movie of that quality and special-effects that still look amazing in today's environment.

I think I've got the DVD, but whenever I see it on TV, I have to watch it ;) :).

Cheers and thanks for replying! :)

Yeah, the first / original Alien was a masterpiece, too. The second one (Aliens) certainly wasn't disappointing and was great in its own right.

The ones after, Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection, were a little disappointing compared to the original two.

The Alien vs. Predator movies were entertaining (I don't judge them any more deeply than that, LOL) with the marrying two very enjoyable movie series.

I'm just a fan, not really too big of a critic :).

Cheers!

How do you find life in Indiana ?

Very nice...hot (and humid) in the summer (with the occasional tornadoes ;)), and the winters can sometimes be brutal (pretty bad ice storm this past February). The changes in the seasons is part of what makes like here interesting.

Been home for most of my life.

I've been to Europe before, but never France (lived in Heidelberg for a few years a long while back). The sense of history is ever present. It must be really cool to live in Paris.

Cheers!
