I'm curious how many people use Home Replacement apps on their DInc...

Oh, to my defense, the only app I paid for was Docs 2 Go, and that was only $5.55... it's a little off on the price. ;)

I have 62...and growing! And no crashes/lag yet! (As a funny sidenote, I had 6 apps installed on my BB Storm, and I kept getting this system message: "Your application memory is low. Please select applications to delete"
 
71 according to AppBrain... I seriously thought I was in the under 50 population... mainly because I'm OCD about getting rid of apps I don't use. Guess its about time to purge the list again.


UPDATE: I'm going to have to stop reading this thread... seems like since I scrolled up a lil more.. I actually ended up adding another dozen apps to my list......
 
Do any of y'alls media apps allow you to have your music on the /emmc device instead of /sdcard? I'm looking for one that has a sleep timer but I don't want to move my music to the sdcard.
 
currently at a stable 44 apps and 18 roms that I actually use, was upwards of 80+ when I first got the phone and was a little app crazy...

What I don't get is that with the above number of apps installed I am always getting low memory warnings. Has everyone above with 80 or 100 or more MB of apps rooted their phone for apps2SD or am I missing something?


Edit: Oops, Just realised this is the Incredible forum. That might explain it.
 
WOW and LOL at the same time! I was afraid to add more than a handful of apps because if I did with my old POS Storm, it would slow to a crawl and freeze etc. I'm still a bit hesitant to add more than the 20 or so I now have, but you lunatics are helping me get over my fear. Thanks for taking the time to list them too. Great thread!

I actually have more because I have downloaded several things since I last updated apbrain.
 
Over 200! A bunch of games and apps- some are dupes for games and apps, but I like some features of different dev versions of apps. Example is the card games.

I have zero low memory warnings and have almost 400mb of apps installed.
 
I thought I was in trouble already having 36 on my wishlist on AppBrain... Then I chatted today with a coworker that has a Hero...he said he went home to count...and he has 142.

I feel much better now. ;)

Installed Appbrain, I have 112, total amount paid $11.22 Much more then I would have guessed I had.. lol.
 
I put 300-and-something on an Incredible to test a bugfix in SystemPanel. It was an incredibly painful experience (downloading them). Phone seems to work fine with that many on it, didn't even manage to use half the app storage space.
 
47 downloaded.

I use Skyfire, AK Notepad, Gameboid, Pandora, Facebook and My Verizon consistently.

The only paid one is the GameBoid app and that one was well worth the money. I mean it's like 300 games for $3.99. The phones that are coming out these days are so amazing.

I'm lovin' it!
 
Do you guys notice any slowdowns with so many apps(100+)? I typically have around 5 on my phone because i dont use any other apps frequently enough to have them on my phone permanently.
 
 
I'm pretty happy with my list, but its at $126.60 and climbing, lol.
