Root curious if possible..sense 5...

i have seen touchwiz on the htc evo 4g lte on custom roms...i am wondering if it is possible, now that the new htc one is out, to make a custom rom with sense 5 with blinkfeed and also 4.2.2 for the htc evo 4g lte. i really want the htc one with the new sense...but i dont have a upgrade for another year and a half. and i am pretty sure no htc but the new one has 4.2.2....and for some reason when i use the aosp custom roms my service drops dramatically. like when i have sense i have 3 or 4 bars...but will drop to 1 or 2....never able to figure it out..

I ran that for a week or so... It's a pretty nice rom. I forget what my issue with it was. It seems something I used didn't work right but it was minor. Try it, I think you'll like it.

thanks for showing me the sense 5 port....i stupidly bought the htc evo 4g lte on 2 year contract in november without looking to see when the new wave of phones was coming out...granted, i love it... a lot. but now i cant upgrade for another year and a half...meh...and like the new blinkfeed...looks cool. i dont see htc bringing 4.2.2 or key lime pie or sense 5.0 to my phone since it is last gen...i mean...i am still wating for facebook home and sonic dash to come onto my phone when others already have had for months...meh....but at least i am very excited about this port.

well you know, if you keep saying i should have waited then you will always be waiting. phones have progressed so fast these days and there will always be something on the horizon that will wet your appetite for something new. i'm very happy with my phone and will gladly wait until my contract is up. i will be very curious to see what will be out by then........so for me, i have no regrets.

and when key lime hits, you can be sure that we will have amazing roms to choose from that has it......i mean the og evo has JB now!!!!

I played around with kernels for a little bit on this phone, but I ended up just running the stock kernel. For what I do anymore on this device, I don't need a custom kernel. But....

Maybe I should start tinkering again.:p
