Currently have iPhone 4 looking to upgrade to Inspire

I would give them a quick call before to ask if they can just switch it over the greeting or what's te best way to do it. Don't want you to go get the inspire activate it then they say too bad they can't do it

I know everytime I upgraded my iPhone it just automatically come to me once the new iPhone was activated this won't happen when I switch to the inspire on it's own

The speaker does kinda suck but its not completely horrible. I have gotten used to it.
Yes you will keep your unlimited data. I went the same route you did and nothing changed on my account except the IMEI numbers.
I love this phone. Being able to customize almost every aspect makes it feel like its MY device. I do miss the fact that there are less games coming from iOS but in all honesty i rarely play them anyways. Once you divulge into the market and see the possibilities of what you can do with your phone, you wont turn back.
Also there are apps that make the inspire feel more comfortable to ex-iOS owners. One such app is "Better keyboard 8" and the iphone chiclet keyboard. This makes the keyboard look exactly like the iphone keyboard so texting should be almost the same. Also there are free apps such as "Chomp sms" that turns the texting conversation thread into the iphone style texting but it has loads of customizations. Check it out if you do switch.

Good, were you able to keep your current voicemail greeting?
 
Seems like a decent price but those batteries probably aren't 1600mah more than likely same as the stock battery. I have a couple and they last the same amount of time but it's nice to have a couple spares

But thats cool they make a stand alone charger for the batteries
 
If that's like an app store you need to have the update that allows 3rd party installs when you go to menu-settings-applications-you should see an option unknown sources

How do I find this update? I checked for updates and nothing came up also I dont have that unknown sources option yet under the applications screen
 
It's an automatic update nothing you can do on the phone will make you get it. There were a few people that called att and had them push the update to their phones. Still took a couple days to get it. Another option is to use a temporary root method enable the unknown sources then when you turn the phone off and back on the root is gone but unknown source option stays

The device itself is much nicer and the operating system is also nicer, albeit some 3rd party apps are slightly more buggy. Syncing the device, if that's your thing, is not much nicer. iTunes did everything for you, whereas the Droid is much more stand alone.

That is nice for you, but my speaker is awful. Music sounds terrible, and it is hard to talk to people using it. I don't mind too much, never used speakerphone for calls much, and I use headphones for music.
