Cursing within Text

Sometimes........only a curse word can convey the seriousness of a conversation. Can someone please tell me how to set the messaging parameters to include curse words. I have tried to figure it out to no avail.

what keyboard are you using? If you're using swype just type in the word you want and hit the spacebar and it will save your favorite curse words right to the dictionary for future swypes.

That's what I was going to say. Regardless of the keyboard I believe it should save the word once you've used it once, but I could be wrong. I've taught my dinky little LG Voyager all the curses with my "Word" texting.

Sorry! I should have been more clear. Yeah.......I use swype, and it does remember curse words. However, if you use the voice option, it recognizes it and prints it like this------> F###

Maybe having it sensor it out will actually add to it. People will be able to tell the difference... "man, he's really yelling at me" vs just typing...

I'm generally pretty concervative (prudish :D) about language in forums. ;)

Here there is a bit of leeway, although outright "f" words are discouraged.

But in our own devices? Conveying our feelings/thoughts to a person who we know? Having that censored by the carrier, the manufacturer?

I find censorship of our own private communications in text to be a possible prelude to attempting to do so in voice communications over the air; suppose we feel like swearing in a phone call and the carrier has decided to disallow certain words?
