Accessories Custom Made Incredible Dock

Hey guys.

Sorry for the slow reply. Yes I am still making the docks. I am just getting over that nasty flu, I am better and ready to rock.

I will also have a black one available shorty, made out of acrylic. Many folks have requested a black one so I shall make one ;-)

n2airz, think you can make a clip-on mirror for the Inc?

I have a feeling you could make $ome coin with this.;)

I have the 3500 & case and it does not matter. The dock is so adjustable it is not a factor! I actually have 3 of these docks, 1 for work, 1 for home office, and one for night stand. Read the past posts! It doesn't matter what battery or case you use!

This looks like an outstanding dock, particularly since it works with some of the aftermarket batteries/backs as posted in this thread.

I had a couple of questions before ordering.

Is this intended to be used with the stock 110v usb/power cord? Does the micro usb end just clamp into the dock? I ask because I see in some of the pictures it appears that there is a short usb cord coming out of the dock and then connected to another cord.

Is the little android guy just a decoration or is it a functional piece? Does the htc lean against the android guy when in the dock or does the htc stand on its side using the usb connection to hold it up?

Thanks

You can use whichever usb cord you have. I'm using the stock one.

My phone does lean up against the android guy. But I have the extended battery and I've also modified him to be able to move back and forth for different batteries or cases that I have. The one you get when ordering comes with double sided tape, so you can position him accordingly.

The personal endorsements here should be a clear indication that this product is well made, very adjustable to cases and extended batteries, etc.

I own one and it works perfectly... with a case on... Seido innocase II

It's a quality build and it was priced right....

Thanks, I did that just before posting that at "01-30-2011, 12:06 PM".

My bad, usually doesn't take long to get them cleaned up, that or it was deemed not spam... i followed the link though and it definitely doesn't belong here though. Either way it got reported again, guess i'll see we'll see what the judgement is. Thanks for reporting it though!

No worries. Thanks!

Hey guys....

Been a long time since I posted here. I got busy with some other projects.

Anyways... I ton of people have been emailing me asking if this cradle will work with the incredible 2. I wasn't sure so I bought one and am tweaking it to fit both and the Thunderbolt. I am also updating the backrest to look a little more sleak. You will also have 2 choices of legs ;-).

I will have some pictures of the update in a day or to, and have a batch ready to ship by Wednesday or so.

ALSO... The new one should fit a slew of other phones however I am not sure of all the ones it might fit. So... if you end up purchasing one of the new docks and can verify that it fits another phone let me know and I will send you a FREE dock ;-).

have a good one guys.

John

Here is a few pictures. It has a much better adjustable back rest, and you now have a choice 2 choices of legs. I will update my website tomorrow night with better pictures.

Compatibility
Incredible 1
Incredible 2
Thunderbolt

And probably others. I am going to make a trip to a few stores to determine all the phones it may fit. And like I said if you guys find a phone it works on that I don't have listed, let me know and I will send you a free dock with engraving of your choice.

Greta to hear from you again John.

As far as the free dock goes, I'd almost guarantee the HTC rhyme fits in it, it is the same size as the Incredible. Free dock for me? :)

But again, great to hear from you. Have you posted in Inc 2 or Tbolt sections?

Or you could put a detailed explanation in your sig with link to your site

Hey there Buddy (NightAngel79) Hows it going.

I hate to post in a bunch of different sections I don't want to come across as spamming, but if its alright I will definitely do it.

Anyways... yes you got a free dock coming. You will have to PM me your address.

I got the website updated finally, with the new product so it is ready to rock.

Have a good one guys.

I saw you post in the Rezound thread about this dock, and I am curious about one thing that I am not seeing mentioned. (sorry if I missed it). I am just coming from an original Motorola Droid, and the OEM dock had some sort of magnet mechanism in it to make the phone recognize that it was in a desktop dock or a car dock specifically. I am assuming that this feature is common to most Android phones. But, I also presume that docks like this, while attractive and well-built, probably lack this feature. Am I correct? Any clarification would be appreciated. I need a dock pronto, because I use my phone as my alarm clock, and it isn't working well with just a loose cord.
