Root CWM 3.0.0.5 will not mount sd-ext

I tried to do a backup with CWM 3.0.0.5 and it says that it could not mount my sd-ext, so it will not back up my sd-ext... I tried to mount the sd-ext in CWM 3.0.0.5, but it says it can not be found. My sd card does have the sd card partitioned, and it was partitioned using CWM 3.0.0.5.

I've had no luck getting it to backup my sd-ext no matter what I try...

Any suggestions??

I'm running CM7.2-ascend-09122011 (Android 2.3.5)

I do not think that version is for the Huawei Ascend... the latest that Rom Manager is finding is the 3.0.0.5 version which I have...

if so... so you have a link for it?

well holy crap batman!! there it is!! I did a search for it, but the search returned nada....

I've even viewed that thread before...guess I had a major brain fart!!

Thanks big time Johnny Crapple!! Will post back with my results :)

EDIT...

Worked like a CHARM!! Now running CWM 3.0.2.4 and sd-ext is backing up now... SWEET!! I only wish I had caught this issue a few weeks ago... did a backup, and then went back to stock 2.1 to try and fix another issue... and when I did the restore... it did not restore my sd-ext data... and I lost a bunch of stuff... Not anymore!!

Again... thanks for the help Johnny Crapple! :) I also "Tipped This"

The version number is actually 3.0.2.4, and wasn't officially supported by ROM Manager, which is why you won't find it there. That version was built to fix things such as the sd-ext issue you were running into.

LOL. No worries, I just figured there is bound to be someone who would go looking for the "wrong" version number and end up making a thread about it, might as well head that off at the pass if possible!
