Root CWM Touch for the OV!

The Dev removed wipe battery statistics from the menu. I guess I won't be flashing this. That option is how I fix my phone when the battery stops charging in the 80 percent range

I try not to post links to things I didn't create, just as a rule of thumb. It's a matter of respect. Here is the file name, perhaps some Googling will turn up the download link.

Hope this helps.

I have been testing this out, and it is very good work! Now that it has been confirmed by several users to work on both the old and new screens, I am seriously considering making it the default recommended recovery for BACKside-IHO. ;)

Thanks to drew and everyone else involved in porting this!

Note- I may make it not so fat finger friendly, I would like to be able to click on the menu items themselves, rather than just replace physical buttons with onscreen buttons. ;)

One thing that needs heavy duty testing is the backups. Please report your success/failures with backups using this recovery.

Why backups/restores shouldn't work properly?
I don't think the main functions code is changed.

Switching between BACKside and Quattrimus went as smoothly as can reasonably be expected. I have yet to find a major problem with this recovery. For now, it's my recovery of choice.

Did anybody notice they changed the backup image format? Now its tar archive instead of img for system, data, cache, sd-ext and .android_secure, which is kinda cool if you need to look at some file in the backup. Looking at the source code both formats are handled so restoring old backup from older recovery version shouldn't be a problem but you never know...
