CyanogenMod-6.1 RC1 for Hero CDMA is available

Is there any dialer lag on this?

Sorry, just trying to find the right rom for my mom before she has to fly back out to Kansas today.

Pull down menu has toggle for wi-fi, blue tooth, gps & vibrate. Now wondering what toggles I'm gonna use for switchpro widget

No lag here. Using the stock kernel clocked at 710mhz, JIT on.

I was having problems on the previous RC where Launcher Pro would force close 2-3 times a day, phone would lock up and randomly reboot. Since flashing to 6.1 I've not had any of those problems. Even with only 22mb of free memory it runs smoothly.

I miss the Sense status bar, so I set my status bar color to black, but it's still not as nice as a stock Sense status bar. But the performance gained over every Sense-based rom I've used makes up for that.

Need some help---this rom defaults to mounting the sd card when plugged into a USB port and screws everything up when stuff is installed onto the SD card. Is there a way to make it default to charge only?

does 6.1 fix the camera problems? like the zoom? i believe there was another problem where it would freeze up the phone if i tried to switch from messages app camera app to take a pic

6.1 has not been so great for me. Battery life is much worse, plus I'm getting more ADW Launcher force closes than before. Will likely nandroid back to 6.0 until I have some more time to mess with it.

Used 6.1 all weekend and shocked at the improvement in battery life. Running stable uncapped at 710MHz screen on and 384MHz screen off. This is nice.

Some trouble with battery, but nothing unusual. Still waiting for the new nightlies to make it to the mirror. A new nightly likely would fix battery issue

still goin strong on 6.1 for about a week now, or however long its been out. yesterday, the phone came off the charger around 7am and with the usual texts, emails all day, a few calls, and some messing around here and there, I was still at 40% when i put it on the charger at 1130pm. Ive gotten one FC on LPP, but i tend to think it was my fault, as i tried using the phone before it had fully booted
