hmmmm, very interesting thanx jericko. i too would like to see how this plays out, if and when the og evo gets cm9 (i have my doubts, but you really never know cuz these devs for the evo just rock!)

I am running CM9 on 2 HP Touchpads (got them in the firesale) and they rock! The CM team is so awesome, one example is in ICS, when you have a app in Full Screen Mode, like a video player or comic reader, the bottom bar does not go away, but you see 3 small dots. Allot of people in the CM forums complained (its a ICS default), and the CM team found a way to allow full screen apps to overlay that bottom bar giving you back all your real-estate.

Interesting, but since the highest "stable" CM7.2 ROM would only spin its splash screen, I do not see anything meaningful to EVO 4G users in this announcement.

this was not meant for cm7.2. this was meant for cm9. thanx for the bump in this thread. i need to flash me some cm9 roms and see what this feature is all about.

I think its enabled by default for most custom roms.


I haven't noticed anything different
