Root cyanogenmod help please! :)

Newbie
Hi guys! I recently installed reppards cyanogenmod and have come across some problems that someone can hopefully help me fix/if unable, atleast reppard will know about some of the problems people are having (ive been reading around for bugs on cgm and turns out i have almost all) some luck :/ apparently plenty of other peoples om's work just fine with it. Anyways here are the problems im facing.

1.status/notification bar=well basically put, i dont have one for some reason and in a way may be affecting downloads from the web.

2.incoming calls=when receiving an incoming call no menu pops up asking to answer or decline like supposed to. Pretty annoying (outgoing calls seem to work just fine though.)

3.cyanogenmod settings=i tried opening it but it just keeps force closing.

4.camera=when recording theres no audio.

5.android market=i know you can fix the login with gapps but for some reason after signing in after trying to download and install the play market would force close. I fixed this by clearing the data on something. If i figure it out ill post what to clear for people wanting to know.

And thats about it. Ill post more bugs and fixes if i find anymore. also if anyone knows how to fix the problems above # 5 please tell me how to do so.

edit"
6.opera mini- when i open opera mini and open keyboard to do a search, the opera feature bar gets stuck at the mid part of the screen making it hard to view web sites. tried landscape and back...nothing.

7.calls- when i transmit a call the volume is at maximum, in order to drop the volume i must raise it then lower it.

uhh I'm a noob but it looks like you need to re-install the rom. Make sure to wipe all user data before installing. also install the latest version of gapps and an MMS fix if needed. if re-installing doesn't help you may have a currupted file. try re-downloading it or switch to bobz's CM7 RC1 rom.:) hope this helps.

That's what I've had to do before.

k. unfortunately i tried bobz cm7 but it ended all ended the same. so i just reverted back to reppards. now i have a thought... previously i was using kelsos because i wanted some root access. i actually got a theme of kelsos for the rom which was supposed to look like ics. the only thing i didnt like about kelsos was that there was no overclocking and high quality youtube videos were discolored. anyways my thought was, because i used a theme on my previous rom, could it be affecting my new ones that im trying? if so would going back to factory everything be the fix. if so, how do i do this. and how can i go back to stock? would going through lg updater work it? thanx for the help btw's!

bump. please someone help and aanswer my question! i really wanna fix this cuz it seem slike everyone doing fine with both reppards and bobz cyanogen.

If you have never updated before then yes you can just update to go back to stock, if you have updated before then you will have to do it with LGNPST

EDIT: if you never updated to 2.2.2 before I mean

which recovery do you have installed and have you wiped all partitions? boot, data, cache, and system??

^_^ i fixed it. i wiped about everything, it said factory reset so i did so. it was semi bricked and i figured reflashing would do it. and yea it worked. now that i think of it the process isnt a whole lot different than the psp. thanx for you guys help. this thread can be used as help for people who were in my situatuion.

if you do not wipe the partitions correctly, the data left on them will not be compatible with the new roms(most likely), this would cause chaos similar to a kernel panic, your phone is pretty much saying WTF, this is NOT RIGHT!

LMAO I like that metaphor :D I'm gonna make it my signature :D:D

I don't think this would brick phones if you didn't do it haha, just make it go bizarre like u said
