D4 Rom

Try wiping cache+dalvik cache and reboot
 
I've flashed your 1.4 wiper, then the ROM, then cleared cache & dalvik - but still get stuck at the boot screen :(

Would a full wipe be the best thing to try next?
 
I can't receive emails or use the internet unless I use wifi. I have data usage enabled but still nothing. Is there something I am missing?

Sounds like an APN issue. Did you check to make sure you have an APN setup for your provider? Settings->More->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names

If you don't, check the internet for APN for your provider. You can add them yourself.
 
Thanks Swordfish, I will look up the settings and use the add new APN option. Loving this new rom and everything else is working fine.

Added a new APN and it worked first time. Thanks again
 
hello i just flashed the rom. but how come there is a lot of missing apps? no google, no market (google play) etc... guys pls help me on how to get the missing apps. ty
 
Google Apps (or GApps) does not come standard with most AOSP-based roms, due to Google's injunction against the cyanogenmod guys for providing GApps for free (apparently it doesn't come stock on a lot of devices, or parts of it at least). Anyway, you can download the latest GApps here. Install using CWM recovery.
 
hello guys, i tried to flashed the rom, i kinda like it tham sammy roms, but it is a little weird when i received a txt messge their is no led light, and when i charged my phone there is also no sound.

is anyone of you guys here can share what is the best settings to set up for this beautiful rom? ty

The galaxy s2 doesn't have any LED's, so you wont get a light showing that. You can get apps that display something on the main screen.

Or if you use a kernel that supports it, then you can use BLN (back light notification). I dont use this, but if you search the forum then there's plenty of info on BLN.

how come stock rom, when somebody text me and if my phone is locked as soon as i received a txt the screens light up. but on this rom nothing happen only sound, and also if i get connected to wifi there is no message that says i am connected! this roms need to do something more about that.

Any ideas on whether or not D4 will ever support the FM radio?
The ROM for me is the best but without this support , is something i really need.

It does support Radio. Check out post 123.

D4 is a developers rom. It disables by default a lot of the typical user options that are usually enabled, such as wifi notifications and 'wake on received message'. I'm not sure how to enable the screen to light up on received sms, but you can fix the wifi issue by going into Settings -> Wifi then then left soft button and go into Advanced.
 
Did anyone notice that when you upgraded to D4v10 the android keyboard autocorrect stopped working? Not sure if this is Siyah or ROM related...
 
If you open your app draw and then press menu there should be an option of new folder or create folder or something like that depending on which launcher you are using.
 
just in from work and read what they are going to try and do, i for one cannot wait to try this new rom.
