Root Daft Nandroid backup question

Just wondering... When I do a Nandroid backup, does that over-write the previous backup on my SD card, or is it a new one? I'm presuming it over-writes, but if not, is there a way of wiping older back-ups (other than reformatting the whole card, that is, although I can see other benefits in doing that...).

no, it will keep all your backups. If you are using rom manager you can "manage backups" from within there.

If not, you can browse to sdcard/clockworkmod/backups and delerte them using any file manager.

Its always nice to have a couple though

Cool, thanks Dan. Using ROM Manager so I'll have a look through there. It just dawned on me that if I keep backing up and the backups don't get deleted, sooner or later my SD card si going to be creaking!

yeah. My nandroid backups are like 1.2GB each nowadays. Can't keep many of those, even if I wanted to.

Yeah. Cause the ext is a 1GB file, regardless of how much is used. Well mine Is a GB anyways
