Help Darker icons without alternative launcher

Ok, so as you can see, I like my phone to look kinda simple. Do you guys think there's any way to change those icons that touchwiz uses? I don't wanna use a launcher because this phone always clear them out of memory, so I'll just stick with tw until we get some ROMs. What do you guys think?

TW gets cleared out of memory just like any other launcher. It's kind of annoying actually.

It is very annoying, with my old motorola bravo I never had that problem, and it was a lower end phone than this. I used many launchers with it, and they never got cleared out of memory, we need a version of Android that hasn't been jacked up by Samsung for this phone!
