searched forums, and didn't come up with anything, but i flashed this rom, and i have random data drops.. i can't seem to figure out why... before i flashed 1.1 from 1.8 i didn't have these data drops at all..

I noticed this also, I seem to have this problem with cyanogen mostly. It only occurs when I have both my 3G and 4G radio on when I am not in a 4G area. Whenever I enter a 4G area i turn it back on and it's fine

Having this as well. 4g only works fine. 4g/3g or 3g only sometimes won't turn on. Beyond frustrating right now.

well, i updated to the stock gingerbread before i flashed cm7, so i would assume i am using the new radio. although i'm not completely sure how to check

I'm using Gingerbread 2.11.606.3 radio

menu>settings>about phone>baseband version
The first series of numbers is the CDMA radio. The second is LTE. Compare them to the numbers is THIS THREAD and that will tell you which radio you're on

I have 5th GB, but it wasn't OTA like the thread assumed. I flashed it. I got a link from a thread on this MB. I'm getting data drops as well. Its getting crazy, thank god for home wifi
