Root Data Throttling

mofos think they're slick. i dont see the data usage on the boost website but it's prolly bc i'm on the $3 daily plan and havent switched back to the monthly plan yet

So it seems i cant even update my apps in playstore when i am throttled...is that how it works? Never been throttled on prevail

well, apparently boost has just started giving a damn. they never kept track of data before unless you used their proxy, now they are using the correct method which in turn screws me.... im up to almost 11gb in only a week and thats with this 25kb/s cap. gonna have to find a way to get real internet now i guess

It has been in the news (where I live) lately that air ways are becoming more and more congested and wireless users (specifically wireless data users) will eventually notice the drop in speed. I guess it makes sense that everything has it's limits? I wonder if that's why Shin remoived the hidden menu...he figured it would eventually be of no assistance to change your proxy?

well no its still of use. data is faster without the proxies. only problem is after 2.5gb it doesnt matter if youre stuck going through the proxies or not

So much for being incognito...how come everytime I get a dollar "the man" comes a callin? There must be another way!

one loophole. If you're on the $3 daily plan, monthly data limits do not apply. Basically if you give them 90 a month they won't throttle you lol

Hey does anybody know if removing the items from the data/system/throttle folder will disable throttling? Probably not but wondering

so i accidentally changed some settings that i wasnt supposed to, how do i make them all reset to default? like i changed the DSS one and i forgot what it originally had

im using my mini ipad becasue they fixing my house internet they told is going to take like 2 week to fix just want to now can boost find out im using their internet in my ipad

why my internet is way faster when i used wifi thether on my pc

U 2? I think it uses more data too... Leading me to think it's the way the info processes the data cuz the Internet was designed for a PC instead of converting to a smaller screen/android... If I'm right, somebody plz let me know cuz I've been wondering myself. No complaints, just curious. :smokingsomb:

I believe they are only throttling 4g data at 2.5 GB then the speeds well drop to 3g. The sequent is only 3g right? So you have nothing to worry about!
