Root ##data# ???

I'm on CM7 and tried using the ##DATA# (##3282#) trick, but it actually dials it instead of bringing me to the settings. Do I need to be on a Sense based rom for this to work?
 
Yes. The cm7 thread in the root subforum do more details. Cm rims do not have the sprint espt menu
