This script will not work for A73..i will provide modded one there..in A73 forum,hope that's fine for u..
 
Manual Method of Installation (For Advanced Users):

Get both my flashable zips n extract them.

1) First from MountScript zip,
- Get install-recovery.sh n put it in /system/etc/ and permissions to 755(rwxr-xr-x) or 777(rwxrwxrwx) and ownership to 0-root, 0-root
- Then ext2.ko module to /system/lib/modules/ n permissions rw-r--r-- & ownership to 0-root, 0-root
- Now go to /data n create a folder named sdext2
- Reboot
- Check whether 2nd partition is mounted or not.
- After successfull mounting only go to step-2

2) from Data2Ext zip,
- Get busybox_d2sd n put in /system/xbin/ n permissions rwxr-xr-x & ownership to 0-root, 2000-shell
- Get e2fsck n put in /system/bin/ n permisions to rwxr-xr-x & ownership to 0-root, 2000-shell
- Get all init.d scripts n put them in /system/etc/init.d/ n permission for all to 777 that is rwxrwxrwx & ownership to 0-root, 0-root
- Reboot

Could you please let us know how to check 2nd partition is mounted or not do we need to check it through link2sd or is there any other method???:confused::confused::confused:

yup through link2sd you can check :-
here is how it goes..
1) open link2sd
2)click menu
3)click storage info

then link2sd will show you 3 slots if mounted correctly
1st will be internal memory
2nd will be sd card
3rd will be sd card 2nd part.

like this one..!!

No need of link2sd
Open Engineering Mode
Go to Memory->NandFlash
Now u will see total nand memory, select 2nd,middle,tab n u wil see all mounted partitions
Second partition will be displayed as /dev/block/vold/179:2

Here, choose 1st activity(of engineer mode)...
A shortcut will be placed on ur home for Engineer Mode.

Ya i got it and in engeering mode i checked in memory it only shows Nand Flash no ext2 so how to check that??? Again :confused::confused::confused:

Yes, it will show nand flash only, tap on it, u will see another screen having 3 tabs, 1st will show total nand memory that is 512mb, in d 2nd tab u will see all mounted partitions, look for 2nd sd partition there...
 
Internel memory not increased after flashing of data2ext zip I have alredy partioned and created mount script and link2sd is working properly

If u r using link2sd then patition is already in USE by it so it will not be available for script...
I just want to tell everyone that script works, works n works...may be zips hv sm permission setting problem but method for Andvanced user is 101% working,if u r not confortable with advanced method then just use it as a debug method...i hv provided different methods plus debug options hw to check n solve, please see previous comments of others plus mine.
 
guys.. i have tried both methods on BT Rom but without any sucess.

I have an 32GB card and I had made second partition of 5 GB (ext2). I can see that is mounted in link2sd.

even after flashing data2sd... zip file from recovery my internal storage is same. I have even tried with factory reset on same rom .. no sucess

the only thing i could see is that I had updated all the OTA and not tried this just on version 1 of BT

plzzzz help

Download ROM manager from market/play store and then fix permission with it you will have it working...

so you mean after creating mount scripts from link2sd, link2sd will become useless

Buddy it works may be you need to reboot ur phone may be 4 5 times reboot then check if the internal memory increased if not then again reboot as if i got it working the same way the scripts needs to fire up at the boot and once its done then after that it will automatically fire up at boot but for the first time it takes time so try rebooting multiple times.

are u facing any problems after using this method??
i mean is your gallery and camera detecting sd card??
coz when i last did this with sagarwep ICS v2 installed then i faced those problems.!!
and if u could mention any other problems u are facing then it would help us.!!

shahabaz.. thanks for reply.. i noticed one thing.. i found the following error file in folder data2sd, strangely my sd card is mounted and i can see the storage in link2sd.

Format the second partition manually with PC n try again..
 
Can you please help Me out? i have flashed data2ext.zip file but nothing happened still no increase in internal memory ?
note: ext2 partition was working fine 4 me I was using it with link 2 sd but before flashing ur zip I had unchecked auto link in link2sd but few apps apparently are still linked :rolleyes:
