Hey RM! Yes, let's hope today is the day, but if not, we can continue having fun on this thread! At this point it's better for us not to expect anything, but if it does happen then it will be a pleasant surprise! Let's hope for the best! :)
 
Well official ship date has arrived for me. Although I highly doubt I will be seeing an email, who knows maybe I will get lucky. Mainly I would just like to have it by the weekend. I have managed to avoid calling CSRs even once, just biding my time, getting hints from yall of what to say, wondering which excuse I will get.

Official ship date here, too! I agree that having it by the weekend would be awesome!
 
My official ship date is tomorrow and still no word. I'm going to try to resist calling until the end of the day tomorrow if I don't receive an email.

When I dial *611 I still get the "you're eligible for an upgrade" message! :rolleyes: Yeah, I've been eligible since March and held off to order this phone! Three weeks into my wait and still no love from Verizon! :(

There is still hope....hang in there....remember mine was 2 days past and they shipped it on a Sunday.....normally there is no activity on the weekends.....me thinks they are feeling the pressure from a certain group of hostages....lolol

Even tho the crazy thing is only 18 min away do you think they will really let it sit there all day today and deliver tomorrow....now that would really be crazy!

first call for today (my ship date) CSR in funny accent says it is still pending and is scheduled to ship today. We'll see how that changes throughout the day.
Stopped by Best Buy yesterday. The store I went to was no longer taking names for a waiting list for the Dinc. I could get on the list for the MotoX which I will do if my Incredible does not ship today. You basically have to buy a $50 gift card to get on the list. Heck it is cheaper than the $250 verizon charged me when I placed the order. Nobody, not even the Verizon store knows when the droid x will be coming in. Of course this is what they are telling me but they say they have no idea what will hit the doors until it gets there. Funny way to run a business.

I am going to hang till you get yours my friend....and it is still 3 days of torture till I have mine....2 day shipping....bahhhh....that would be Tuesday not Wednesday....lol

I hope not, but then again. I don't feel like leaving a note on the door bc i won't be here today. tomorrow though, i have off :)

at 6:50am they updated it with - At Local Facility...it's like they're taunting me!

LOL... Thanks for not bailing on me! I'm just wait, wait, waiting like everyone else! I wish I'd ordered mine with overnight shipping, however, from the sounds of other folks here it would've never made a difference... They'll ship two-day whether you like it or not!! :eek:

I was hoping to have mine by the weekend so that I could shove a firecracker in my BB Curve and give it the proper send off! ;)

For both our sake I hope they are right. The not knowing is the worse part! For some reason I think I'm going to be the guy that has to wait the full 5 days :(.

!!! does that mean you got your notice???? :( you were a 6/4 right? I am too, :( I still have not recieved my notice..... well, a call from the local verizon rep he promised to cal me when he got a tracing number.... I am a new customer so I prolly am not going to get an e-mail... I was into a verizon store yesterday just to play with the dinc and a guy asked if he could help me, and I was like nope, jsut getting my incredible fix, blah blah mentioned mine was supposed to have shipped so he checked... and nothing. :(:(

Yea, I'm not much of a Motorola fan either. I also had no idea this HTC phone was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Guess I was out of the loop. After this long of wait that phone better scratch my balls and do house chores or else I'm gonna complain to HTC.

So my phone is being delivered today and I'm contemplating calling out of work so that I don't miss the Fed Ex man. Am I crazy?

Seriously, though, my optimistic alter ego is hoping to receive it by the end of the week. The fact that I'm traveling and have asked to reroute it could be yet another wrench in this entire debacle, however... :eek:

I did leave a signed note taped to my front door about leaving the phone there in the event it doesn't get rerouted. As an alternative, I asked that it be held at the closest Fed Ex store/facility. Worst case, if it gets returned to Verizon, I'll just order the X.

Which means I'll have another wait on my hands. LOL, thank goodness for having a sense of humor. :D
