Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I ordered on 7/1 and was originally told it would ship 7/29. Then last thursday, I called cs and they told me it would be shipping out on Friday. I said "this Friday? 7/9?" and they said yes. Now today they told me it won't be shipped until August. Great.
 
Also your location code and order number do work for reference tracking so if you have that it will work. She gave me my order number and location number so I could do ref tracking. Then before getting off phone she found my tracking number and saw it shipped. It was my entire location code then 3 zeros before my order number. LOCATION_000ORDERNUMBER

yup, im getting the same thing.

I wonder if we don't see it till even later in the month of August.
 
Oh my god. So Awkward.

I just called again to get my order # and location # and she goes "Oh.. It seems like you've been calling... every day... about this..." I was like "yeah i'm just trying to figure out what's going on because i hear that it's getting pushed back again blah blah" She said she's looking at it and that I ordered it on 6/26, so it will ship by 7/23.

I bet you hear something today. My email came at 5:01PM last friday. you're 2 days behind me.
 
She asked me why I wanted the location and order number and I told her so I could do reference tracking on fedex since I was an in-store order and I did not think I would be getting a shipping email. She said in-store orders won't get a shipping email. Keep that in mind phone and in-store folks.

The guy said that the system sometimes gets "confused" and broadcasts the "awaiting activation" message when it shouldn't.

I'm still hoping I get a rogue shipment this or next week, but I suppose I'm almost at the end of my journey here...

yeah, it was hinted to me by the CS that is was the screen, but if the phone continues to have have QC issues, HTC may just can it for their next phone.

That's exactly what I thought. I asked for those #'s and she was like "oh wow you've been calling a lot..." and she never gave me the #'s.. haha (I have them on the receipt though but I wanted to make sure they're right? I'm paranoid.)

And JRM, i creeped on your posts so I didn't have to ask about but yeah you were an online order, I won't get an email but thanks for the wishes for today!

yeah, I was online (instant rebate versus mail-in). Still think you will ship today or tomorrow. I was an overnight ship (of course it was shipped friday and came on monday)
 
I have been calling CS all day. They have been reading off the stock dates instead of checking.

Ordered: 6/27 in store. MD.
Quoted Shipping Date: 7/26
*611 Notification: 7/18
Actual Ship Date: 7/19
Delivered (estimated): 7/20 by 3:00pm

Estimated delivery date and time are from the FedEx tracking info. I ordered overnight shipping.

As long as someone thinks so I feel confident :) I don't think i'm going to call back anymore though because that conversation was seriously so awkward haha. I'll just keep trying the Fedex trick and see if something comes up. Wahhh :o
