Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

My girlfriend ordered hers online 7/6, she got the *611 today like me, so we will see when she gets shipment confirmation, I think she had second day delivery though.
 
I just got my $75.00 check in the mail from selling my perfectly good EnV touch, that should hold me over for a day or two..

Ordered in store: 6/23
Shipped: 7/15 (I think, was only time I called *611 and got the pending activation message)
Arrived: 7/19

I'm currently at work and letting it charge, put my Zagg screen on and seido innocase as soon as I opened it. I really wanna play with it now :D

spreading hope would be if you ordered it yesterday and it came today, otherwise, meh, old news.
 
I'm not going to sleep tonight. I wasn't even excited until yesterday am when the 611 msg hit. Got a major meeting tonight too so I might just take tomorrow am off since I won't be any count if I do come in.
 
Finally got my phone last week!

6/6 order
6/28 promised ship
7/13 actual ship (big mix up on VZW part)

Still need to call VZW and get my free month or 2 of service outta this deal. Maybe more depending on how grouchy I feel when I call them again.
 
^ Agreeeed. Luckily I won't be able to check the computer tomorrow for about 6 hours.. I would probably just be disappointed anyways haha

That might be a good thing not being around a computer. I know I wasn't able to get online today until around lunch and although I thought about it the whole time I wasn't able to have the computer on and this thread open hitting the refresh button every 5 minutes! Funny thing though, I checked my BB about every 5 minutes for a shipping notification email!
 
I get home around 11:30PM tomorrow. I'll plug the phone in and let it charge over night. then I'll plug it in during the ride to work to bump it. should be the "perfect" first charge

I wish I was in your position. At home the baby and girlfriend keep me distracted enough and I don't have to think about it. At work I sit in front of a computer for 8 hours straight. It's too easy to hit the refresh button every 60 seconds.
 
recent email response: "In review of your account I see that you placed your equipment order on 6/29/2010. Your phone will be shipped before 7/27/2010"

doubt i'll get anything different talking to someone on the phone. i do get the "equipment awaiting activation" message with *611 & also online, so hopefully they'll send me an email with the good news of a shipping notification soon!
 
Yup, haven't seen any of those movies haha i'm only 20. I have to go to work now too so maybe somehow something with start rolling in the next few hours so I can be happy when I come home :)
