No, that can't be!! If watching Monty Python would've caused it to ship earlier all I would have needed to do was think about it and it would've appeared in my hand! I have so many hours watching those movies that it could probably be measured in months!! LMAO!
 
AHHH! It shipped! My jaw fell when I saw the shipment notification e-mail. It's sitting in memphis TN!

Hi there,

I'm new to these boards and have been learning so much over the past few days. Just wanted to let you know that I ordered in-store, and I did receive a shipping notification via email. I was checking the reference tracking on Fedex, and the info wasn't there until Fedex received the shipment info from Verizon. Try to be patient. I know, I know, easier said than done!

Order date: 6/24
Est. ship by date: 7/22
Shipping notification rcvd: 7/18
Est. delivery: 7/20
 
oh, forgot about estimated delivery.

so it looks like they're doing two day even though we had overnight. but at this point I don't really care just as long as it gets here.

gr8 news! i ordered mine only a day later, in-store though... hopefully i'll receive some similar news tomorrow! (getting my hopes up)

Well looks like I just unexpectedly got my shipping notification. Only thing different from what you posted is the ordered online date(bolded).

about 5 days in and this phone is the best thing ever... love it.
 
just called cs to see whats good with that activation message i got yesterday. Right away the cs person said "looks like the phone has shipped i have a tracking number for you, I can txt it to your phone right now." I was happy. Should be here the 21st. Currently:

Absolutely NOT! AT&T (iPhone) is utilizing GSM technology which uses a different spectrum than Verizon's CDMA technology. The network technology and frequency spectrum are completely different and NOT compatible. Therfore it is impossible to use an AT&T iPhone on the Verizon network with a software hack.

When (and if) the iPhone comes to Verizon it will have a different chipset using CDMA technology or LTE (Verizon's 4G) if that's avaiable at the time.

Gotta be careful what you read...

Guys guys guys guys guys!

I emailed Verizon earlier today and asked about my phone. I got a response within an hour or two, "A review of the account indicates your Incredible was shipped today." She also gave me a tracking number, it's totally different than the Location_Order#, it doesn't even have a _ in it. In the email I also asked what my plan was, and how much it would be before and after I added the Incredible, and she wrote everything out in such a clear way it was a really nice email. Now I need to track it!

It got picked up in West Chester, PA @ 619PM, and left the facility at Coatesville, PA @ 644PM. I have two day, so there's a chance i'll get it tomorrow! :) :) So happy!

PS Attorney, since they gave me a totally different tracking number there is hope for you that your Location_Order# didn't work. There's hope!
 
The Location_Order# isn't the same as your tracking number.

It's just a reference to find your shipment and in turn your tracking number.

Congrats on your phone!
